What is Salvation?
Therefore, rid yourself of all malice and all deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and slander of every kind. Like new born babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation, now that you have tasted that the Lord is good

It is easy to talk about being saved, but do you think that you know what this means?
One of the main points of a Christian’s faith is our salvation. But when we decide to ask Jesus Christ into our lives, to become our Lord and our Saviour, we very often take it for granted that we know what this salvation means. As this is our first real step of faith, we are trusting that God has done everything for us to make our salvation possible. But we must get a good understanding of what salvation means so that we can start to live our lives the right way.
It is also important to realize that if we do not live our lives the right way if we are living them the wrong way, we might not be able to keep our salvation.
There are in the bible so many references to our salvation that it is not possible to look through all of them in this bible study. However, if you look up and read the scriptures that follow you will soon get to know what God means when He is talking about our salvation.
The scripture above is a good place to start. If you have already read it, read it again and meditate on it for a few minutes. It should give you something to think about. It should give you an understanding that your salvation is not something that is done by God alone.
